RE: AUTHORIZATION TO SIGN AN ADDENDUM TO OPTION AGREEMENT FOR
SALE AND PURCHASE OF REAL ESTATE BETWEEN WELD COUNTY AND
C. RICHARD MC COY.
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, and
WHEREAS, a Notice to Show Cause was issued by the Weld
County Attorney to C. Richard McCoy, to be present at the
August 3, 1977 regularly scheduled meeting of the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, to show cause why said
C. Richard McCoy has not complied with certain terms and conditions
involving the sale of real estate, more particulary described as
follows :
Lots 1, 2 , 3, 4 and 5 inclusive, Cranford
Subdivision, Block 162 , City of Greeley,
Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , C. Richard McCoy was present at the August 3, 1977
regularly scheduled meeting of the Board of County Commissioners ,
and
WHEREAS, after careful consideration of Mr. McCoy ' s state-
ments, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, deter-
mined that it would be in the best interest of Weld County that
the hazard insurance covering fire and extended coverage on the
above-mentioned real estate, be carried by the seller, as more
fully set forth in the Addendum to Option Agreement for Sale and
Purchase of Real Estate, a copy of which is attached hereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado, that paragraph number 8 of
the Option Agreement dated June 13, 1977, which was signed by
both the seller and purchaser, be, and hereby is , deleated, and
in lieu thereof, an Addendum to Option Agreement shall be signed
by both parties.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly
made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 3rd
day of August, A.D. , 1977.

ADDENDUM
TO
OPTION AGREEMENT FOR SALE AND PURCHASE
OF REAL ESTATE
Dated June 13, 1977
Between
WELD COUNTY, A Quasi-Municipal Corporation of the State
of Colorado, as Seller, and C. RICHARD MC COY, as Purchaser.
THIS ADDENDUM, made and entered into this 3rd day of
August, 1977 , by and between WELD COUNTY, A QUASI-MUNICIPAL
CORPORATION OF THE STATE OF COLORADO, as Seller, and C. RICHARD
MC COY, as Purchaser.
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS , heretofore, the parties have executed an Option to
Purchase Real Estate Agreement pertaining to the premises described
as follows:
Lots 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 inclusive, Cranford
Subdivision, Block 162, City of Greeley,
Weld County, Colorado,
and the parties hereto desire to amend and supplement the terms
and conditions of said Option Agreement with the intention that
the stipulations herein contained will be considered as part of
the original Agreement, and as if contained in the document
above described.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises
and covenants of the parties as are contained in said Option
Agreement, and are contained herein, it is understood and agreed
as follows:
Paragraph 8 of said Option Agreement is hereby deleted
and in lieu thereof, the following language is substi-
tuted to-wit:
Hazard insurance covering fire and extended coverage
on said property shall be carried by the Seller, pro-
viding coverage in the sum of $186 , 000 on the improve-
ments located on the property covered by this agreement.
The Seller shall be the insured and shall be entitled
to all proceeds for any loss sustained prior to closing.
Purchaser shall reimburse Seller for the cost of said
insurance within ten (10) days of notice of the cost of
said insurance coverage. In the event that the improve-
ments located on the property covered by this agreement,
shall be materially changed or altered due to fire,
natural disaster, civil disorder or by any other
cause , then and in that event, either party to this
Agreement shall have the option to declare this
Agreement null and void.
In all other respects, the terms, conditions and stipulations
contained in said Option Agreement, are hereby ratified and con-
firmed.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, said Seller and Purchaser have hereunto
caused this Addendum to be duly executed in duplicate original,
on the day and year first above written.

I am the holder of the referenced preliminary proposal.
As per conversations with your staff, this proposal was not
approved last year because of the projected marketing of
previously approved Section 8 programs. I would now like
to have this proposal considered in response to your current
N.O. F. A. No. CO 99-0037.
I hereby certify that the proposal to be considered remains
identical to the previous proposal CO 99-H001-025 with the
following exception: new rents.
