WELD COUNTY COUNCIL JAN8 1980

The Weld County Council met in regular session in full conformity ..
with the Weld County Home Rule Charter at 915 10th Street, Greeley,
Colorado, December 20, 1979 at the hour of 1:00 P.M.
ROLL CALL: The following members were present:
Robert Martin, President
Ralph Waldo, Vice President
Cedric Hallock, Councilmember
Gary Kampel, Councilmember
Floyd Oliver, Councilmember
Also present: See attachment.
MEETING MINUTES: Floyd Oliver made a motion, seconded by Cedric Hallock,
that the December 6, 1979 meeting minutes be adopted. The motion
carried unanimously.
APPROVAL OF PURCHASE ORDER: Cedric Hallock made a motion, seconded by
Floyd Oliver, that voucher 5224 be approved for payment. The motion
• carried unanimously.
CORRESPONDENCE: Mr. Martin read the Commissioners' resolution adopting
16¢ a mile as the rate of reimbursement for use of cars for County
business.
ORDINANCE 65: Mr. Martin read a legal opinion from Robert Ray concerning
Ordinance 65. Ralph Waldo suggested that Councilmenbers consider
the promotion of a Charter amendment to remove the requirement for
acting by ordinance in all instances.
ROAD AND BRIDGE HEARING: Mr. Martin invited Commissioner Kirby to sit
with the Council to respond to citizens' comments about County roads.
Citizens of Weld County presented their concerns about County roads
in the following order:
