797 RESOLUTION
RE: APPROVE ASSIGNMENT OF TAX LIEN SALE CERTIFICATE TO MARVIN
ENTERPRISES, LLC, AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,the Board now is the owner of a certain Tax Lien Sale Certificate, a description
of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A and made a part hereof, which is for the value of the taxes
owed, and
WHEREAS, the subject property is described as: ETN 14393 E2 L12 THRU 17 BLK 12,
SITUS: 203 3 ST, EATON, CO 80615, and
WHEREAS, on December 10, 2010, Marvin Enterprises, LLC (by Russell L. Martin) paid to
the Treasurer the total sum of Fifteen and 18/100 Dollars($15.18)for the purchase of Tax Lien Sale
Certificate No. 2010/10495 for the property listed and described on Exhibit A, which amount
represents the value of the taxes owed, plus delinquent interest; advertising fee(s); internet fee(s);
rebilling fee(s); redemption interest; and an assignment fee as of December 10, 2010, and
WHEREAS, the Board has the authority to assign the Tax Lien Sale Certificate in this
manner, pursuant to Section 39-11-120, C.R.S., effective December 10, 2010.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Weld County Treasurer be and hereby is directed to prepare the Tax Lien
Sale Certificate for the property listed on Exhibit A for assignment to Marvin Enterprises, LLC.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized to
sign said assignment and any other associated necessary documentation to affect said assignment.
