HomeMy WebLinkAbout20100741.tiff 244 RESOLUTION RE: APPROVE ASSIGNMENT OF TAX LIEN SALE CERTIFICATES TO JACKS, INC., AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Board now is the owner of a certain Tax Lien Sale Certificate, which is attached hereto as Exhibit A and made a part hereof,which applies to property held by Judy Duron, Trustee, and is located in the Town of Johnstown, Weld County, Colorado, and is for the value of the 2008 taxes, and WHEREAS, the subject property consists of a residence located within the Town of Johnstown, and WHEREAS, on April 7, 2010, Jacks, Inc. has paid to the Treasurer the sum of Two Hundred and Seventy-Nine and 88/100 Dollars, ($279.88), which represents the value of the 2008 base tax, plus the following amounts: delinquent interest from May 1, 2009, through November 2, 2009; an advertising fee of Ten and no/100 Dollars ($10.00); an internet fee of Eleven and no/100 Dollars ($11.00); a rebilling fee of Five and no/100 Dollars ($5.00); redemption interest from November 2, 2009 through April 30, 2010; an assignment fee of Four and no/100 Dollars ($4.00), (which fee is reflected on the Exhibit cover sheet for each investor, but is not reflected on the individual Tax Lien Sale Certificates of Purchase); and WHEREAS, the Board has the authority to assign the Tax Lien Sale Certificate in this manner pursuant to Section 39-11-120, C.R.S., effective immediately. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,that the Weld County Treasurer be and hereby is directed to prepare the Tax Lien Sale Certificate for the property listed on Exhibit A for assignment to Jacks Inc..
