RESOLUTION
RE: APPROVE ASSIGNMENT OF TAX SALE CERTIFICATE TO CARLSON FARMS
HOMEOWNERS' ASSOCIATION, INC.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board now is the owner of Certain Tax Sale Certificates, a list of which is
attached hereto as Exhibit"A"and made a part hereof,which applies to property which is part of the
Carlson Farms Subdivision, located in the Town of Johnstown, Weld County, Colorado, and is for
the value of the 2006 taxes, with endorsements for the years 2005 through 2008 and interest, and
WHEREAS, the subject property consists of outlots located within the subdivision, and
WHEREAS, on January 28, 2010, Carlson Farms Homeowners'Association, Inc., has paid to
the Treasurer the sum of Four Thousand, Eight Hundred and Twenty-Two and 10/100 Dollars
($4,822.10),which represents the full amount of the outstanding taxes and interest with the desire to
obtain the subject property through Treasurer's Deed for the purpose of management of said outlots
by the homeowner's association, and
WHEREAS,the Board has the authority to assign the Certificate in this manner pursuant to
Section 39-11-120, C.R.S., effective as of January 28, 2010.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Weld County Treasurer be and hereby is directed to prepare Tax Sale
Certificates for the properties listed on Exhibit "A" for assignment to Carlson Farms Homeowners'
Association, Inc.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized to
sign said assignment, if necessary, and any other associated necessary documentation to affect
said assignment.
