RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO HUMAN SERVICES
COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Human Services Committee, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Elizabeth Barber be appointed to said board as
the private sector representative;that Jodi Hartmann be appointed as a low income representative;
that Beth Danielson be appointed as a low income representative, all of which are new positions per
revised bylaws; and that Cornelia Dietz be reappointed as a low income representative, from the
mental health representative; and that Kevin Thompson be reappointed as a low income
representative, from the disabled community representative, and
WHEREAS,the Board deems it advisable to appoint Elizabeth Barber and Jodi Hartmann to
said board,with terms to expire December 31, 2011;that Beth Danielson to appointed to said board,
with a term to expire December 31, 2010; and that Cornelia Dietz and Kevin Thompson be
reappointed to said Board, with terms to expire December 31, 2012.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Elizabeth Barber, Jodi Hartmann, and Beth Danielson be, and hereby are,
appointed to the Human Services Committee, with terms to expire December 31, 2011, and
December 31, 2010, respectively, and that Cornelia Dietz and Kevin Thompson be, and hereby are,
reappointed to said board, with terms to expire December 31, 2012.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 28th day of June, A.D., 2010.
