RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT TO UPSTATE COLORADO ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists on the Upstate Colorado Economic Development
Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Arlan Marrs be appointed to said board to
replace Bruce White, and
WHEREAS,the Board deems it advisable to appoint Arlan Marrs to said board, with a term
to expire December 31, 2012.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado,that Arlan Marrs be, and hereby is, appointed to the Upstate Colorado Board,with
a term to expire December 31, 2012.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 18th day of January, A.D., 2010.
