We represent Ida Kay Stehle and submit this Notice of Claim pursuant to C.R.S. §
24-10-109 on her behalf. She is an additional claimant with her husband Sam Stehle.
We believe notice of claim was previously made by Mr. and Mrs. Stehle to Weld County
and the Weld County Board of County Commissioners. However, we are resubmitting
notice to the extent prior notice could be construed otherwise. Please contact me
immediately if there is any problem in your receipt and acceptance of this Notice of
Claim. Thank you.
NAME OF PUBLIC ENTITY AND ADDRESS: Weld County and the Weld County
Board of County Commissioners, 915 10th St., Greeley, Colorado 80631.
CLAIMANT NAME AND ADDRESS: Ida Kay Stehle, 5975 WCR 22, Longmont,
Colorado 80504. She is an additional claimant with her husband Sam Stehle who
previously submitted notice of claim.
CLAIMANT'S ATTORNEY AND ADDRESS: Petrock & Fendel, P.C., 700 17`h St.,
Denver, Colorado 80202.
DATE OF CLAIMED LOSS: November 8, 2010.
ADDRESS OF DAMAGED PROPERTY: 5975 WCR 22, Longmont, Colorado 80504
("Property").
STATEMENT OF FACTUAL BASIS FOR CLAIM : Mr. and Mrs. Stehle's Property is
being damaged by water draining on and to it from adjacent property and roads owned,
controlled, and/or subject to the jurisdiction of the Weld County. The water is damaging
Mr. and Mrs. Stehle's house and other improvements on their Property and is severely

limiting their use and enjoyment of the Property. The water is also damaging Mr. and
Mrs. Stehle's well and the water supply to his home. Mr. and Mrs. Stehle only recently
learned the water could be coming from possible sources off of their property and
believes Weld County may be responsible. Mr. and Mrs. Stehle is further investigating
this.
DESCRIPTION OF DAMAGES: Mr. and Mrs. Stehle's Property is being damaged by
water draining on and to it from adjacent property and roads owned, controlled, and/or
subject to the jurisdiction of the Weld County. The water is damaging Mr. and Mrs.
Stehle's house and other improvements on their Property and is severely limiting their
use and enjoyment of the Property. The water is also damaging Mr. and Mrs. Stehle's
well and the water supply to their home.
MONETARY AMOUNT REQUESTED: The amount of monetary damages is unknown
at this time but may be and Mrs. Stehle may seek the maximum damages allowable by
law including, but not limited, the maximum amounts allowable under C.R.S. § 24-10-
114.
