WHEREAS, it has been again determined that the present accounting system within the Weld County Assessor's Office and within the Weld County Treasurer's Office are in need of revision and change, and WHEREAS, The Affiliated Banks Service Company-Greeley Division of Greeley, Colorado, hereinafter referred to as ABSC, has submitted an agreement to perform services for the Weld County Assessor's Office and the Weld County Treasurer's Office in the form of property appraisal account- ing for the Assessor's Office and property tax accounting for the Weld County Treasurer's Office, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, Weld County, Colo- rado, believes it to be in the best interest of the County to enter into such an agreement on the basis recited therein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Com- missioners, Weld County, Colorado, that the agreement submitted by ABSC providing property appraisal accounting for the Assessor's Office and property tax accounting for the Treasurer's Office, all as set out in said agreement, including Exhibit A, copies of which are attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference, be, and they hereby are approved. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board be, and it hereby is authorized, to execute the agreement as submitted and to make the same effective forthwith. BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WELD COUNTY, COLORADO • Cti :Ace it l,/. , ;7 ' //I ATTEST: e._ cS� � Weld County Clerk and Recorder and Clerk to the Board Y ¢ I / Deputy County; lerk APPROVED AS TO FORM:,.___ , A County Attorney A I'©CE7r 750622 AGREEMENT THIS AGREEMENT, Made and entered into this 14th day of May , 197 5 , by and between AFFILIATED BANKS SERVICE COMPANY-GREELEY DIVISION OF GREELEY, COLORADO, hereinafter referred to as ABSC, and THE COUNTY OF WELD OF THE STATE OF COLORADO, A Political Subdivision, hereinafter referred to as Weld, WITNESSETH, THAT: WHEREAS, ABSC is engaged in the commerical activity of computer data processing and proposes to perform services for Weld in the form of Property Appraisal Accounting for the Weld County Assessor's Office and Property Tax Accounting for the Weld County Treasurer's Office, which is set forth on Exhibit A, and which by reference is made a part hereof, and, WHEREAS, Weld desires to employ the services of ABSC for such purposes, NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises and covenants of the parties as are hereinafter contained, and for the further consideration hereinafter stated, it is understood and agreed as follows: 1. This Agreement shall be effective for a period of one year, commencing December 1, 1974 and ending on the last day of November 1975. 2. Exhibit A, above referred to, and attached hereto, sets forth in detail scheduling as to dates when information is to be furnished by ABSC, the type of information as described under heading "Report Name". Said Exhibit A lists the estimated cost for each type of report which ABSC agrees to furnish. For purposes of clarification, Programming will be billed at the rate of $15. 00 per hour, and Computer Time will be billed at the rate of $90. 00 per metered hour. It is acknowledged by the parties hereto that Exhibit A lists only the estimated times to accomplish each report. It is mutually agreed that billings will be accomplished monthly by ABSC on the basis of the estimated costs shown on Exhibit A; provided, however, that a full detailed statement covering the entire year's processing will be furnished to Weld with the November 30, 1975, invoice. It is understood that said statement will reflect either any reduction of the actual processing costs required, if the time consumed is less than the estimate shown on Exhibit A, and ABSC represents that the billing time required for the various reports required under Exhibit A will not in any event exceed the times shown under the heading of "Estimated Hours" on said Exhibit A. 3, It is further mutually understood and agreed that in the event Weld requires additional services or reports, other than those listed on the schedule referred to as Exhibit A, ABSC will separately bill Weld for such services on the basis of $15. 00 per hour for Programming and $90. 00 per metered hour for Computer Time. The services described on Exhibit A are defined as "Run Cost". ABSC represents, per Exhibit A, that Run Cost for Personal Property and Real Property will not exceed 130 1/2 hours and will not exceed a total cost of $11, 745. 00; that Tax Accounting Production will not exceed 39 1/4 hours and the cost thereof will not exceed $3, 532. 50; that On- Line Accounting will not exceed $16, 536. 00 and the total run cost will not exceed $31, 813. 50. 4. It is further understood and agreed by and between the parties that in order to accomplish the reports which are described on Exhibit A, ABSC is obliged to charge for the programming which is hereinafter referred to as "Systems". ABSC agrees that the System scheduling and cost thereof will not exceed the following schedules: Assessor's Office research and maintenance at $15. 00 per hour for 50 hours, or a cost of $750. 00; program charge for new or one-time runs at $15. 00 per hour for 190 hours, or a cost of $2, 850. 00; computer time necessary for new runs at $90. 00 per hour for 5 hours, or a cost of $450. 00. Summarizing, Systems shall not exceed in cost the sum of $3, 600. 00. 5. It is further and finally understood and agreed that this Agreement is for a term of one year, as is hereinabove specified. The parties acknowledge that if ABSC is to continue services in behalf of Weld beyond December 1, 1975, it will be necessary for the parties to commence negotiations for a new agreement no later than November 1, 1975, with an agreement to be executed on or before November 15, 1975.
