RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO EXTENSION ADVISORY
COUNCIL
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Extension Advisory Council, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Gerald Roth be reappointed to said board as an
Agriculture/Natural Resources representative; that John Kruse be reappointed as a Family and
Consumer representative; that Joe Intermill be reappointed as an Agricultural/Natural Resources
representative;that Terry Gertge be reappointed as a Community Development representative;that
Jeffrey Hare be appointed as a Community Development representative, to replace Bill Hedberg;
that Robert Grand be appointed as an Agriculture/Natural Resources representative,to replace Brad
Leafgren; and that John Steele be appointed as a Community Development representative, to
replace Janet Johnson, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to reappoint Gerald Roth to said board, with a
term to expire February 1, 2012; to reappoint John Kruse, Joe Intermill, and Terry Gertge to said
board, all with terms to expire February 1, 2013; and to appoint Jeffrey Hare, Robert Grand, and
John Steele to said board, all with terms to expire February 1, 2012.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado,that Gerald Roth be, and hereby is, reappointed to the Extension Advisory Board,
with a term to expire May 23, 2012; that John Kruse, Joe Intermill, and Gertge be, and hereby are,
reappointed to said board, with terms to expire February 1, 2013; and that Jeffrey Hare, Robert
Grand, and John Steele be, and hereby are, appointed to said board, with terms to expire
February 1, 2012.
