Colorado stat and the Weld County me Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of

WHEREAS,after review,the Board deems it advisable to approve said agreement, a copy of
which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado,that the Seismic Mineral Permit Agreement between the County of Weld, State of
Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, and Geokinetics
USA, Inc., be, and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized to
sign said agreement.

Dear WELD COUNTY,
Geokinetics, and/or its assigns hereby requests your permission to conduct a seismographic survey, including the right
to ingress and egress for such purposes, across your land in WELD County,CO and more fully described below in
Exhibit A:
Total Acres:21.70 PER ACRE:$5.00 Total Check:$108.51
This permit shall include any surface or mineral interests you own within this seismic survey, including but not limited
to,the surface interests described above.
Our operations will be conducted in accordance with standard industry practices and in a prudent and careful manner,
and we agree to indemnify and hold you harmless from all liability and claims, if any,which may result from the
operations conducted under this permit In addition, Geokinetics USA, Inc. agrees to indemnify and reimburse
landowner for any physical loss or damage to the property as described in the land description resulting from the
seismic and/or geophysical testing conducted by Geokinetics USA, Inc. In the unlikely event that this survey is
cancelled or moved,we will notify you and this permit shall become null and void. Unless otherwise voided by
conditions stated herein,this agreement shall survive any lease, sale, trade or conveyance of property interests
described above and made after executed date of this agreement and will be binding on successors or assigns.
If your permission is granted, please so indicate by signing this permit form in the space provided below and return
one copy of the permit in the enclosed courtesy envelope and retain the other copy for your records. Please fill in
your phone number if it is not already indicated below. It is very important that you include your SSN or Tax I.D.for
payment and inform us of any Oil and Gas lease and tenant/renter information affecting the lands covered by this
Permit. Permittee represents that he/she has full legal authority to grant permission for entry to the described lands
for the purpose of conducting the requested survey. This Agreement(a)constitutes the entire agreement of the
Parties with respect to the subject matter and supersedes any prior agreement or understanding with respect to the
subject matter hereof and(b)may be executed in separate counterparts via facsimile or telecopy.

The niobrara job does not start until after the first of the year. So, the checks will not be cut until right before
the job starts. If you would like I can just e-mail you again when I receive the check around the first of the year.

Hi Cory,
I finally got a reply back from the Clerk and Recorder which indicated they could not pull Deeds for these
parcels without the Reception # or Book/Page, so I'm just going to go forward with the Parcel Valuations for
now in establishing files. If you should find the recording information, please forward it.
Also, would it be possible for you to e-mail me a signed copy of the permit and forward the corresponding fees
so I can list this on the next available Agenda?

Hi Cory,
In researching our records I do not show evidence of County ownership for the parcels listed in the attached
request (probably because we have never had activity on them in the past). Would you please provide
documentation/deeds which lead you to believe these mineral acreages are under County ownership so that I
may establish the necessary files and process your request accordingly? Upon receipt we will list this matter
on the Agenda for consideration and signature by the Board of Weld County Commissioners.

My name is Cory Land. I am permit agent for Geokinetics USA,Inc. I have received your information from
Ryan Ferguson, who is also a permit agent. We are doing another survey in the Grover, Co. area, and I have
permit for Weld County. He said that you maybe able to help me out with getting this permit signed. The name
of this job is Niobrara 3-D and the permit# is 1546. If you could get back with me on this I would surely
appreciate it. I have attached both the permit and the exhibit that has the property decsriptions.
