HomeMy WebLinkAbout780575.tiff RESOLUTION RE: DECLARATION OF OLD JAIL FURNISHINGS AS SURPLUS PROPERTY AND DONATION THEREOF TO THE GREELEY MUSEUM AND THE EATON PUBLIC LIBRARY. WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, it has been determined that requests have been made by the Greeley Museum and the Eaton Public Library that certain furnishings considered surplus property remaining in the Old Weld County Jail be distributed to said Museum and said Library, as 'donations, and WHEREAS, it has been established that the following items are to be declared surplus by the Board of County Commissioners, and that said items be donated as more fully set forth below: Greeley Museum - the weather vane, wrought iron doors and two oak chairs; Eaton Public Library - coat rack, swivel chair , elec- tric fan, oak file and a portion of the heating radiators; Both - brass door knobs; An inventory is to be taken of the number of knobs available and then the two entities will be contacted to see how many each wants. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the aforementioned items be, and hereby are, declared surplus and donated as set forth. The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 1st day of March, A.D. , 1//]]978.
