DESIGN, INC., CIO MARK HOUT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, State of Colorado, at
a duly and lawfully called regular meeting held on the 8th day of November, 2010, at which
meeting there were present the following members: Chair Douglas Rademacher, and
Commissioners Sean P. Conway, William F. Garcia, Barbara Kirkmeyer, and David E. Long,
and
WHEREAS, notice of such meeting and an opportunity to be present has been given to
the taxpayer and the Assessor of said County, with said Assessor, Christopher Woodruff, being
present, and taxpayer UNI Design, Inc., c/o Mark Hout, not being present, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has carefully considered the attached
petition, and is fully advised in relation thereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the Board concurs with the recommendation of the Assessor and
the petition be and hereby is, approved, and an abatement or refund be allowed as follows:

Abatement Petition 2009 for UNI Design, Inc. #P0017027
Mr Woodruff,
I am petitioning for abatement for 2009 for the following reasons
I) 1 began closing UNI Design Inc in late January 2009 and sold piratically all of
the assets to retire debt. Presently there is one computer and printer along
with some residual file cabinets that store corporate information. Most likely
we will officially close that corporation business books by the end of 2010.
2) Upon this past week's review of 2009, I noticed what possibly is an error on
the valuations between 2008 and 2009 of approximately full decimal point
move to the right. (160k swing see attached copy). I do apologize for not
noticing the error last year but because of the business closing and a myriad of
other related issues it went unnoticed. My focus was to insure that taxes were
paid up and until the business closed.
3) I estimate the value of the 2009 corporate personal prop assets to not exceed
$800.00 in total. Obviously any amounts due on a new basis I will remit
immediately. I would appreciate your attention of review and acceptance of
this petition.
