RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS TO FAIR BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Fair Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Debbie Carpio be appointed to said board to
replace Patricia Kindvall; that Karen Folchert be appointed to replace Hollee Hayes; and that Tad
McMillan be appointed as the FFA Chapter representative, to replace Kurt Humphrey, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Debbie Carpio, Karen Folchert, and
Tad McMillan to said board, with terms to expire September 30, 2012, September 30, 2010, and
September 30, 2011, respectively.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Debbie Carpio, Karen Folchert, and Tad McMillan be, and hereby are,
appointed to the Fair Board with terms to expire September 30, 2012, September 30, 2010, and
September 30, 2011, respectively.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 18th day of January, A.D., 2010.
