INFORMATION ONLY
Attached is notification from the Department of Corrections exercising their right to reduce
funding from $104,878 to $94,878, effective February 17, 2010. Through the Community
Corrections Board, sub-contracts are already in place with local agencies 81, Inc. and Rocky
Mountain Offender Management Systems, LLC. These agencies provide local services to these
offenders and process monthly billings to our Division of which we approve and process on
behalf of the Corrections Board and the County. This amendment merely authorizes a decrease
that our sub-contractors may charge for offenders receiving services. Please note that the
County retains 2%of these total funds (if fully expended) for administrative support assistance.
There is no need for review or authorization by the Commissioners; merely for your records.

a. Change in the amount of services within current term.
b. In accordance with Section 2.3. of the Original Contract routing number
08CAA00014 between the State of Colorado, Department of Corrections and Weld
County Community Corrections Board, covering the period of July 1, 2009 through June
30. 2010, the State hereby exercises the option for a decrease in the amount of
services at the same rates as specified in the Section 2.1. of the Contract.
The amount of the current Fiscal Year contract value is decreased by $10,000.00 to a
new contract value of$94,878.00 as consideration for services ordered under the
contract for the current fiscal year 2010. The first sentence in Section 2.1. is hereby
modified accordingly. The total contract value including all previous amendments, option
letters, etc. is $446,378.00.
c. The effective date of this Option Letter is upon approval of the State Controller
or February 17, 2010, whichever is later.

In accordance with Paragraph 2.3. of contract routing number 08CAA00014
between the State of Colorado, Department of Corrections and the Board of
Commissioners of Weld County, covering the period of July 1, 2007 through June
30, 2012, the State hereby exercises the option for increase in the amount of
services at the same rates as specified In the Exhibit A of the Contract.
The amount of the current Fiscal Year contract value is increased by $18,000 to a
new contract value of $100,000 to satisfy services ordered under the contract for
the current fiscal year (2008). The first sentence in Paragraph 2.1. is hereby
modified accordingly.
The total contract value, including all previous amendments, option letters, etc. is
$428,000.

This contract Option Letter is not valid until the State Controller, or such assistant

prior to the date below, the State of Colorado may not be obligated to pay for
goods and/or services provided.
