RE: APPOINTMENT OF TONYA DISNEY AS DEPUTY CLERK TO THE BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, due to the retirement of Sharon Kahl, a need exists to appoint another Deputy
Clerk to the Board, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 3-7 of the Weld County Home Rule Charter, it is the desire
of the Board to appoint Tonya Disney as Deputy Clerk to the Board and to rescind the appointment
of Sharon Kahl.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Tonya Disney be, and hereby is, appointed Deputy Clerk to the Board,
effective April 29, 2010.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board, that the appointment of Sharon Kahl be, and
hereby is, rescinded.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 3rd day of May, A.D., 2010, nunc pro tunc April 29, 2010.
