RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT TO 911 EMERGENCY TELEPHONE SERVICE AUTHORITY
BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,a vacancy currently exists on the 911 Emergency Telephone Service Authority
Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Jim Burack be appointed to said board as the
Weld County Law Enforcement representative, to replace David Montgomery, and
WHEREAS,the Board deems it advisable to appoint Jim Burack to said board, with a term
to commence January 12, 2010, and expire January 10, 2012.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Jim Burack be, and hereby is, appointed to the 911 Emergency Telephone
Service Authority Board, with a term to commence January 10, 2010, and to expire January 10,
2012.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 13th day of January,,�A.D., 2010, nunc pro tunc January 12, 2010.
