The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado wholly supports the efforts of
Paragon Farms, specifically Manager Gary G. Peschel,in regards to the application for a grant for an
energy efficiency improvements project through the REAP Program. The proposed Electrification of
a Farm Irrigation System project will help Weld County in reaching its established environmental
goals of improving air quality.
Clean air is very important to Weld County,and this project will improve air quality and save energy
by eliminating the use of a large diesel generator to be replaced with clean, commercially available
electric power.
