RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS TO HUMAN SERVICES COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Human Services Committee, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Tom Teixeira and Debbie Drew be appointed to
said board as designees of elected officials, and
WHEREAS,the Board deems it advisable to appoint Tom Teixeira to said board,with a term
to expire December 31, 2011, and Debbie Drew, with a term to expire December 31, 2012.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado,that Tom Teixeira and Debbie Drew be, and hereby are, appointed to the Human
Services Committee, with terms to expire December 31, 2011, and December 31, 2012,
respectively.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 2nd day of August, A.D., 2010.
