Home My WebLink About20102610.tiff 165 RESOLUTION RE: APPROVE ASSIGNMENT OF TAX LIEN SALE CERTIFICATES TO KIVA PROPERTIES I, RLLLP, AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS,the Board now is the owner of certain Tax Lien Sale Certificates,the information concerning which is attached hereto as Exhibit"A" and made a part hereof,which is for the value of the 2008 taxes, and WHEREAS, the subject properties include five mobile homes located on Parcel number 096106213040, and described as follows: GR 12812 IMPS ONLY MH PT L6 7 8 SE4NW4 6 5 65, 1823 5th Street, #50, #33, #43, #39, and #129, Greeley, Colorado 80631, Weld County, and WHEREAS, on October 27, 2010, Kiva Properties I, RLLLP, paid to the Weld County Treasurer the total sum of Six Hundred Thirty and 86/100 Dollars($630.86), for the purchase of the five Tax Sale Certificates for the properties listed and described on Exhibit "A," which amount represents the value of the 2008 base tax, plus delinquent interest from May 1, 2009, through November 2, 2009; an advertising fee; an internet fee; a rebilling fee; redemption interest from November 2, 2009, through October 31, 2010; and an assignment fee, and WHEREAS, the Board has the authority to assign the Tax Lien Sale Certificates in this manner pursuant to Section 39-11-120, C.R.S., effective immediately. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Weld County Treasurer be and hereby is directed to prepare Tax Lien Sale Certificates for the properties listed on Exhibit"A"for assignment to Kiva Properties I, RLLLP. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized to sign said assignments and any other associated necessary documentation to affect said assignments.
