RE: AUTHORIZATION OF EXPENDITURE FOR MODIFICATIONS TO FORT
LUPTON SERVICES BUILDING (FORT LUPTON LIBRARY) .
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Superintendent of Buildings and Grounds has
brought to the attention of the Board of County Commissioners,
the need for certain electrical modifications to the Fort
Lupton Services Building (Fort Lupton Library) , and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the expenditures for
said modifications are available in the Buildings and Grounds
budget, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advisable
and in the best interest of Weld County to authorize this
expenditure so that the county electrician may proceed with
the work to be performed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the authorization of
expenditures for electrical modifications , be, and hereby is,
granted.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 5th day of
December, A.D. , 1977.

subject: Fnrt Lupton Library, Sheriff Station, Recording Office
As you know, the old Library in Fort Lupton will have to have
electrical modifications in order to accommodate the Sheriff department
as well, and the Clerk and Recorder.
This means that in order to run new circuits, and be within code,
we have to run a complete new electrical service into the building.
Attached is a drawing as to how we will accomplish this, as well as
a material list and cost.
This cost includes only the material necessary to get the new service
into the building. All the additional circuits necessary to the upper floor
will have to be calculated when we find out what is needed.
I have submitted a copy of this drawing to Pete McWilliams of Fort
Lupton, and have his approval to proceed.
What we need now, is your approval to purchase the materials, and who
is going to pay for them.
As soon as we get this ok we can proceed on his portion of the project.
