Home My WebLink About20101042 906 RESOLUTION RE: APPROVE VACATION OF USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT#592 -WELD COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, by Resolution dated December 6, 1983,the Weld County Planning Commission approved Use by Special Review Permit#592 for a Major Facility of a Public Utility for a Dry Open- Cut Gravel Pit-Sheffler Pit,for Gary Sheffler, c/o the Weld County Engineering Department, on the following described real estate, to-wit: Part of the SW1/4 of Section 5, Township 11 North, Range 57 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado WHEREAS, staff from the Departments of Planning Services and Public Works recommended the vacation of Use by Special Review Permit#592 due to the determination that the mining site has been reclaimed and released by the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, and WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners heard all of the testimony and statements of those present, studied the request of the applicant and the recommendations of the Department of Planning Services staff and all of the exhibits and evidence presented in this matter and, having been fully informed, deems it advisable to approve said vacation.
