RESOLUTION
RE: ACCEPTANCE OF THE BRIDGE AREA UNDER PHASE II - WELD COUNTY
CENTENNIAL CENTER.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has received a
letter from Hensel Phelps Construction Company dated November 14,
1977, regarding the Weld County Centennial Center, Phase II of
construction. Said letter officially turns over the Bridge Area
of Phase II to the County of Weld for its use, enjoyment and
care. The letter notes with pride, that the turn over is taking
place three months earlier than the completion date originally
committed, and
WHEREAS, there are three items remaining to be completed
as follows:
1. The permanent glass will be installed at a later date
in nonbusiness hours from the exterior, due to a man-
ufacturing delay.
2. The draperies which are complete will be installed
after permanent glass installation to prevent damage
to the drapes.
3. The bridge is supplied heating and ventilation by a
system in the Phase II Complex. It is operational,
however, final} balancing will occur when the remainder
of Phase II is balanced.
and,
WHEREAS, it has been noted that the training area of Phase
II will be turned over to the Weld County Sheriff on January 9 ,
1978, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners is pleased to
accept this letter of transmittal of the Bridge Area, and agree
to acknowledge acceptance of the Bridge Area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the letter of trans-
mittal from Hensel Phelps Construction Company turning over the

the Bridge Area of Phase II of construction of the Centennial
Center is acknowledged, and, therefore, said Board does hereby
accept the Bridge Area of Phase II of construction of the
Weld County Centennial Center, subject to completion of the
aforementioned three items.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 14th day of
November, A.D. , 1977.

Dear Commissioners:
It is with great pleasure that through the efforts of CNC/NHPQ Inc. , Hensel Phelps
Construction Co. , and all of the contractors involved, we as a team are able to
turn-over the bridge area of Phase II for your use. This turn-over is three months
earlier than the completion date originally committed.
There are three items which we wish to draw to your attention. They are as follows:
1. The permanent glass will be installed at a later date in nonbusiness hours
from the exterior, due to a manufacturing delay.
2. The draperies which are complete will be installed after permanent glass
installation to prevent damage to the drapes.
3. The bridge is supplied heating and ventilation by a system in the Phase II
Complex. It is operational, however, final balancing will occur when the
remainder of Phase II is balanced.
This document constitutes a transmittal of the Bridge Area to you for your use, enjoy-
ment and care. All remaining punch list items have been so noted by the A/E and
Hensel Phelps and will be corrected as soon as possible.
We are happy to accommodate your needs by turning this office area over earlier than
promised. As you know, we will also be turning over the Training Area of Phase II to
the Sheriff on January 9, 1978 for his use. If there are any areas that you wish an
early turn-over, please notify us.
