RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS TO FAMILIES, YOUTH, AND CHILDREN COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,vacancies currently exist on the Families,Youth, and Children Commission, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Lydia Strode be appointed to said board as the
Probation representative, to replace Carla Silva, and that Enita Kearns-Hout be appointed to said
board as an at-large member, and
WHEREAS,the Board deems it advisable to appoint Lydia Strode to said board,with a term
to expire December 31, 2011, and to appoint Enita Kearns-Hout,with a term to expire December 31,
2012.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Lydia Strode and Enita Kearns-Hout be, and hereby are, appointed to the
Families, Youth, and Children Commission, with terms to expire December 31, 2011, and
December 31, 2012, respectively.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 9th day of August, A.D., 2010.
