RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO NORTHERN COLORADO
REGIONAL EMERGENCY MEDICAL AND TRAUMA SERVICES ADVISORY
COUNCIL (RETAC)
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Northern Colorado Regional Emergency
Medical and Trauma Services Advisory Council (RETAC), and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Eulala Chapman Echols be appointed to said
board as the North Colorado Medical Center Trauma Services alternative member, to replace
Sandra Gehl, that Dave Bressler be reappointed as the Weld County Paramedic Services regular
member, and that Rod DeRoo be reappointed to said board as the Weld County Paramedic
Services alternate member, and
WHEREAS,the Board deems it advisable to appoint Eulala Chapman Echols to said board,
with a term to expire June 30, 2011,to reappoint Dave Bressler,with a term to expire June 30,2012,
and to reappoint Rod DeRoo, with a term to expire June 30, 2012.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Eulala Chapman Echols be, and hereby is appointed to the Northern
Colorado Regional Emergency Medical and Trauma Services Advisory Council (RETAC), with a
term to expire June 30, 2011, and that Dave Bressler and Rod DeRoo be reappointed to said board,
with terms to expire June 30, 2012.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 9th day of August, A.D., 2010.
