That is for lettering on the building. The free-standing sign standard is 16 square feet.

Dear Mr. Silva,
I have reviewed the Weld County sign requirements for building signs in the Agricultural Zone
District. Building Marker signs (4 square feet)for property identification purposes are allowed.
Building signs larger than this (unless they were approved through the Shannon Special Review
Permit) are not allowed and would require a variance. Variance applications are available online
at http://www.co.weld.co.us/departments/planning/plan submittalinfo.html then click"Board of
Adjustment". If you have any questions, let me know.
