RE: Case# USR-1717—Sandra Rakowski
Dear Chris Gathman:
I am responding to the information I received in the mail regarding the above mentioned proposed
project.
I am the neighbor the East of this property and have several issues, concerns, and problems with these
animals at the proposed site. I am in partnership with Jon Dolieslager on this piece of property and am
the one that resides at the residence.
There have been numerous occasions that there are several dogs at this location and they bark non-
stop, without any discipline from the owners. It is very irritating for us to even be outside, because you
can't even visit over the noise of the dogs barking and jumping at the fence. There have also been a
couple of occasions that we have had company at our residence and the small children have been
playing in the yard and all of the dogs are jumping at the fence barking and growling at the children.
That does not make me very comfortable, because the wire is not in the best condition that they have
•
around the fence and if the animals were to get out, I am afraid they would be dangerous and vicious.
I can supply you with several written confirmations of these concerns, from numerous people that have
been visiting at our residence and have witnessed this activity of the dogs. Please just contact me if you
would like that information.
I appreciate your consideration of these concerns, regarding this proposal by Sandra. The yards are in
very close proximity and it is very annoying as it is and the thought of more animals is very disturbing to
me because they do nothing to control them or try to make them quite.
I look forward to hearing the outcome of this situation and please feel free to contact me with any
further questions or concerns.
Sincerely, 4

To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing in reference to the dogs of Sandra Rokowski and Rudy Camarillo. I have been to their place
with my children and grand children several times over the years. NEVER have any of those dogs hurt,
growled or bitten anyone. Yes they bark when they first see us, we pet them and they go away and do what
dogs do. The grandchildren play with them indoors and outdoors without incident. The dogs will even let the
kids use them as a pillow when they watch television.
My brother and sister are not the type of people to raise vicious dogs. Their pets are their children. Those
pets only want to be loved and pampered. If a gentle dog growls at a person it is obvious that they are being
antagonized by someone or something.
If you need more information, please fell free to call me at 970-545-0478.
Sincerely,
• Terri Camarillo

RE: USR-1717—Sandra Rakowski
Dear Michelle Martin:
I just wanted to confirm with you that you have reviewed the previous communication that I had
submitted to Chris, I believe was the person's name, back with this originally started.
I am the neighbor directly to the east of Sandra at 11477 WCR 18, and have tremendous concerns about
her having any additional animals at her home.
As I previously related, it is very frustrating to us to have these barking dogs constantly jumping at the
fence the whole time we are outside. It is very uncomfortable to even try to work in the yard, have
% company,or a get together on the patio because all you hear are barking dogs. I also have great
concern when there are children around, because I am sure if those dogs ever got out, that they would
be dangerous and bite. The neighbors seem to never address this issue either. They don't call the dogs
inside; they tell them to be quiet or anything.
I do hope there will be careful consideration in this request and that the well being of the surrounding
neighbors will strongly be taken into consideration because I know the noise doesn't only affect us.
Thank you for your time and consideration.

RE: USR-1717—Sandra Rakowski
Dear Planning Department:
Please find below my comments and concerns regarding the request that Sandra Rakowski is making to
the county.
I have visited 11477 WCR 18 numerous times over the last several years and have always commented on
how loud and annoying the neighbors barking dogs are. It doesn't matter what time of day or day of the
week that I have been there, but they are always barking and jumping at the fence. I would have a
concern of their aggressiveness if they ever got through the fence.
I feel that it would not be in the best interest of the surrounding neighbors of Sandra,to have any more
animals at that location because it definitely affects their surroundings at their own property and when
having company it makes it very difficult to have outside activities without this disruption. Sandra never
seems to be too concerned that her animals are disturbing others and never address their barking.
I appreciation you taking the time to read my comments and hope that you will strongly consider them
in your decision making process.
Sincerely,
CLO

RE: USR-1717—Sandra Rakowski
To Whom It May Concern:
I would like to provide you with my comments about this proposal that Sandra is requesting.
I am a family friend of the Bornhoft's whom live at 11477 WCR 18, and do visit at their home frequently.
I also have 2 small children that are usually with me and I have great concern for their safety when we
are outside in the yard. The existing dogs at Sandra's home are very noisy, barking non-stop the whole
time someone is outside and are very aggressive towards people. I feel that if it was not for the wire
fencing that is up around their yard that the dogs would trespass into Bornhoft's yard and bite.
I have witnessed this behavior of those animals for the last 3 years and have great concern about adding
•
anymore animals to the group. You can't even visit when you are out in the yard because of the
annoying barking and the loudness of it.
Please feel free to contact me with any further questions or concerns you may have. I appreciate you
taking my comments into consideration in this process.
Thank you,
Jason Devore
