RE: AUTHORIZATION FOR THE PURCHASING DEPARTMENT TO PURCHASE A
RADIO FOR THE SHERIFF' S PRISONER TRANSPORT.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has been informed
of the need for a radio in the Sheriff ' s Prisoner Transport
which will transmit beyond South Denver, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to authorize the
purchase of such a radio for the Sheriff ' s Prisoner Transport.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the Purchasing Depart-
ment be, and hereby is, authorized to purchase a radio for the
Sheriff ' s Prisoner Transport.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 7th day of
November, A.D. , 1979.
