Home My WebLink About790606.tiff RESOLUTION RE: AUTHORIZATION FOR WELD COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE TO EXERCISE APPENDIX B OF THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN WELD COUNTY, COLORADO AND THE FOREST SERVICE, AND AUTHORIZATION FOR CHAIRMAN TO SIGN THE SAME. WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, an agreement between Weld County, Colorado and the Forest Service concerning the patrolling of certain recreation areas of the Pawnee National Grasslands was approved by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado on July 18, 1979 , and WHEREAS, the Weld County Sheriff ' s Office has requested that it be authorized to exercise Appendix B of said agreement, and WHEREAS, Appendix B of said agreement concerns the purchase of fourteen 2-3/4 pound dry chemical fire extinguishers (Class B and C) with mounting brackets, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado deems it advisable and in the best interests of Weld County to grant said request. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com- missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the Weld County Sheriff's Office be, and hereby is, authorized to exercise Appendix B of the agreement between Weld County, Colorado and the Forest Service. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado that the Chairman of the Board be, and hereby is, authorized to sign Appendix B of said agreement.
