RE: AUTHORIZATION OF FULL TIME PROJECT REPRESENTATION FROM
NHPQ REGARDING CONSTRUCTION OF THE WELD COUNTY CENTEN-
NIAL CENTER.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado Statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, it has been requested by Nelson, Haley, Patterson
and Quirk, Inc. , that the monthly fee for the full time project
representation be approved at ONE THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED AND TWENTY
FIVE DOLLARS ($1, 625. 00) during 1977 , and ONE THOUSAND SEVEN
HUNDRED AND TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS ($1,725. 00) during that part
of 1978 in which project work continues regarding the construc-
tion of the Weld County Centennial Center, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, desires to approve said request.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the request of Nelson,
Haley, Patterson and Quirk, Inc. for a monthly fee for the full
time project representation on the Weld County Centennial Center
be approved at $1, 625. 00 per month during 1977 and $1, 725. 00 per
month during that part of 1978 in which said project work continues.
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 1st day of
June, A.D. , 1977.
The above and foregoing Resolution was read into the record
and signed on the 15thday of June, A.D. , 1977.

1974, 1975 and 1976. However, co s .•eyond 197• ere not established

sible to predict the level of l own -vies on three years due
to the rates of increase then p evailing.
We respectfully request that the monthly fee for Fu 1 Time Project
Representation be approved at $1 ,625 per month dun • 1977 and $1 ,725
per month during that part of 1978 in which project - • ififl• s.
These requested rates reflect only a portion of o ua salary and
overhead increases, but we believe them to be f- and equitable.
Please let me know if I can meet with you to discuss proposed increases.
They are similar but slightly higher than the increases for the preceding
two years.
