RESOLUTION
RE: APPROVE ASSIGNMENT OF TAX LIEN SALE CERTIFICATES TO MARTHA GROSCH
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board is the owner of certain Tax Lien Sale Certificates, a list of which is
attached hereto as Exhibit"A" and made a part hereof,which is for the value of the 2008 taxes, and
WHEREAS, the subject property consists of various properties located throughout Weld
County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, on July 30, 2010, Martha A. Grosch paid to the Treasurer the sum of Four
Thousand Five Hundred Thirty-Three and 55/100 Dollars, ($4,533.55),which represents the value of
the 2008 base tax, plus the following amounts: delinquent interest from May 1, 2009, through
November 2, 2009; an advertising fee; an internet fee; a rebilling fee; redemption interest from
November 2, 2009, through July 30, 2010; and an assignment fee; and
WHEREAS, the Board has the authority to assign the Tax Lien Sale Certificates in this
manner pursuant to Section 39-11-120, C.R.S., effective July 30, 2010.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Weld County Treasurer be and hereby is directed to prepare Tax Lien
Sale Certificates for the properties listed on Exhibit "A" for assignment to Martha S. Grosch.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized to
sign said assignments and any other associated necessary documentation to affect said
assignments.
