Response to Questions for filing regarding land Use Application.
2. A. According to Howard Urban—with EPA at (303) 312-6135 they will not
issue an underground injection well permit for our shop building. He states
that the shop can be operated as a dry shop. If needed in,writing I can contact
him further for a written letter of denial.
2. B. Our dust abatement plan is as follows: we will complete the recycled
asphalt driveway&residential landscaping within the next year. This will
control the dust on our property.
3. C. Upon the shop being built we will have an engineered septic design for
the shop. It will be a separate system from our home. All plans will go
through the Weld County Department of Public Health and Environment.
4. D. 1. The only waste expected to be generated on site are used oil, oil filters,
and antifreeze. The trucks are greased weekly and oil is changed every 3000
miles or every two months.
2. D. 2. The onsite materials will consist of:
1. (1) 55 gallon drum of Rotella diesel oil
2. (1) 55 gallon drum of Hydralic oil
3. (1) 30 gallon drum of Grease
4. (1) Case of Antifreeze 6 gallons per box
2. D. 3. We will be disposing of our used oil/antifreeze/grease with Richard
Raptor. His office is at 4440 Navajo Court Greeley, CO. His office phone is
(970) 346-8208 and cell is (970) 301-0860. The fee will be $40 up to 400
gallons. We only expect to have (2) 55 gallon drums of used oil per year.

2. E. 1. Landscaping will be complete for both residential and commercial
property within the next 2 years.
2. E. 2. The perimeter trees will consist of Ash, Maple, Locust, or Linden.
They will be B & B and at least 2 inches in diameter. The rest will be
landscaped with grass lawn, mulch, and rock.
2. E. 3. I(Michelle Bernhardt) will be handling all mowing and trimming of
grass and trees. The watering will be done b9 sprinkler system and the
mowing will be done weekly to prevent overgrowth.
2. F. The drainage from our property is running in a northwest direction down
the driveway. A storm water detention area will be in the northwest corner of
our property. It has been drawn in on the map.
