IN THE COMMERCIAL ZONE DISTRICT (LANDSCAPING BUSINESS) IN THE
A (AGRICULTURAL) ZONE DISTRICT- BRIAN AND SUSAN WILLIAMS
A public hearing was conducted on May 19, 2010, at 10:00 a.m., with the following present:
Commissioner Douglas Rademacher, Chair
Commissioner Barbara Kirkmeyer, Pro-Tem
Commissioner Sean P. Conway
Commissioner William F. Garcia
Commissioner David E. Long
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Jennifer VanEgdom
County Attorney, Bruce Barker
Planning Department representative, Chris Gathman
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated April 19, 2010, and duly published April 22, 2010,
in the Windsor Beacon, a public hearing was conducted to consider the request of Brian and
Susan Williams for a Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit #1725
for a Use Permitted as a Use by Right or Accessory Use in the Commercial Zone District
(landscaping business) in the A (Agricultural) Zone District. Bruce Barker, County Attorney,
made this a matter of record.
Chris Gathman, Department of Planning Services, recommended that this case be referred
back to the Department of Planning Services as it has not yet been considered by the Planning
Commission. (Clerk's Note: The matter was scheduled before the Planning Commission on
May 4, 2010, and continued to June 1, 2010, to allow additional time for the applicant to notify
surrounding mineral interest holders.)
No public testimony was offered concerning this matter.
Commissioner Garcia moved to refer the request of Brian and Susan Williams for a Site Specific
Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit #1725 for a Use Permitted as a Use by
Right or Accessory Use in the Commercial Zone District (landscaping business) in the
A (Agricultural) Zone District, back to the Department of Planning Services. The motion was
seconded by Commissioner Conway, and it carried unanimously. There being no further
discussion, the hearing was completed at 10:05 a.m.
