RESOLUTION
RE: ACTION OF THE BOARD CONCERNING REQUEST TO WAIVE BID PROCEDURE
CONCERNING OIL AND GAS LEASE AND ACCEPT OFFER TO LEASE MINERAL ACRE
- ROBERT C. JULANDER
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Robert C. Julander, 4185 South Oneida Street, Denver, Colorado 80237, has
requested that the bidding procedure be waived according to the policy as set forth in the Weld
County Code for parcels less than five acres, on the following described mineral acres:
1) A Strip of land 20 feet wide adjacent and south of
the present highway right-of-way, extending
westward approximately 2,640 feet from the east
boundary line of Section 27, to the north and
south center line of said section, Township 8
North, Range 61 West of the 6th P.M., Weld
County, Colorado
2) A strip of land 20 feet wide adjacent and south of
the present highway right-of-way, extending
westward approximately 2,640 feet from the north
and south centerline of Section 27, to the west
boundary line of said section, Township 8 North,
Range 61 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County,
Colorado
WHEREAS, Robert C. Julander is offering to lease the above described mineral acres,each
parcel containing 1.21 mineral acres, more or less, and
WHEREAS, the Board finds that the lease offer from Robert C. Julander in the amount of
TWO HUNDRED AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($200.00), is not acceptable, with the terms and
conditions being as stated in said Small Tract Oil and Gas Lease, a copy being attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the request of Robert C. Julander, to waive the bidding procedure on an Oil
and Gas Lease concerning the above described mineral acres, be, and hereby is, denied.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the offer of Robert C. Julander to lease
mineral acres, as hereinabove stated, be, and hereby is, rejected.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 10th day of November, A.D., 2010.
