RESOLUTION
RE: AUTHORIZATION FOR SUPERVISOR OF WEED DISTRICT #4 TO ERADICATE
CANADIAN THISTLE ON PROPERTY LOCATED IN SECTION 5, TOWNSHIP 1
NORTH, RANGE 63 WEST OF THE 6TH P.M. , WELD COUNTY, COLORADO,
OWNED BY GILFORD EMGEE.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that Gilford Emgee, the
owner of a certain parcel of land located in Section 5, Township 1
North, Range 63 West of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado being
more particularly described as follows, to-wit:
Beginning at the Southwest Corner (SW Cor) of said Section 5, and
considering the West line of said Section 5 to hear North 00°00'00" East,
with all other bearings contained herein being relative thereto; Thence
North 00°00'00" Fast along the West line of said Section 5, 4349.24 feet;
thence South 78°49'17" East, 153.31 feet; thence South 39°17'05" East,
244.33 feet; thence South 71°02'15" East, 77.28 feet; thence South
46°33'36" East 517.64 feet; Thence South 46°01'52" East, 573.34 feet;
thence South 41°12'35" Fast 185.03 feet; thence South 39°26'57" East,
513.62 feet; Thence South 44°32'12" East, 484.38 feet; thence South
08°44'56" West, 349.35 feet; thence South 68°58'36" East, 97.57 feet;

to the Point of Beginning.
has been given notice in writing, said notice being dated May 26 ,
1977 , allowing him thirty (30) days from said date in which to
eradicate an approximate 100 acre area of Canadian thistle situate
in the above-described parcel of land. A copy of said Notice is
attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, and
WHEREAS, it has further been brought to the attention of the
Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that
Gilford Emgee has not complied with said written notice within
the time alloted, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado does, therefore, authorize the Supervisor of Weed District
#4, Mr. Thomas Klausner, to immediately eradicate the Canadian
thistle in said described parcel of land, at the expense of the land-
owner.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that Thomas Klausner, Supervisor
of Weed District #4, be and hereby is directed to immediately
eradicate the Canadian thistle located on the above-described
parcel of land, at the expense of said landowner.
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 13th day of
July, A.D. , 1977.
