RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT #1756 FOR
A KENNEL (UP TO 25 DOGS AND ONE (1) CAT) IN THE A (AGRICULTURAL) ZONE
DISTRICT-JAMES AND LORI MEINING
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing on the 29th day
of December, 2010, at the hour of 10:00 a.m. in the Chambers of the Board for the purpose of
hearing the application of James and Lori Meining, 16662 County Road 29, Platteville,
Colorado 80651, for a Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit#1756
for a Kennel (up to 25 dogs and one (1) cat) in the A (Agricultural) Zone District on the following
described real estate, to-wit:
Lot A of Recorded Exemption #2048; located in part
of the NW1/4 of Section 9, Township 3 North,
Range 66 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County,
Colorado
WHEREAS, at said hearing the Board deemed it advisable to continue said matter to
January 12, 2011, to allow the matter to be reviewed by a full quorum of the Board, and
WHEREAS, the Board heard all of the testimony and statements of those present and
reviewed the request of the applicant and, having been fully informed, finds that this request be
approved and the matter should be continued to January 12, 2011, at 10:00 a.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to
January 12, 2011, at 10:00 a.m.
