Dear Commissioner Rademacher,
Please accept this letter as my notification to the Board of County Commissioners that I will be
returning my salary to the County for the months of September and October 2010.
The District Attorney's Office joins the County Commissioners and other county elected
officials in championing fiscal responsibility. Campaigning for the United States Senate is a
time consuming endeavor, and I believe it appropriate to return my salary to the Weld County
taxpayers.
During the next two months, however, I will remain in regular contact with the supervisors in the
office and be available to consult with them about office and case-related issues.
Sincerely,
Kenneth R. Buck
Weld County District Attorney
