RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT TO COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists on the Community Corrections Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Kevin Strobel be appointed to said board,and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Kevin Strobel to said board as the
representative of the Weld County Bar Association, effective February 3,2010,with a term to expire
August 1, 2012.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Kevin Strobel be, and hereby is, appointed to the Community Corrections
Board, with a term to expire August 1, 2012.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 22nd day of February, A.D., 2010, nunc pro tunc February 3, 2010.
