RE: Bethel Family Praise Center(USR 1429) request to add one(1) modular on the property.
Dear Reverend Alvarez:
Thank you for providing the Department of Planning Services your request to add one (1) modular to the
property known as the Bethel Family Praise Center located west of and adjacent to CR 41 and south of
and adjacent to CR 78 and approved through USR 1429. The Department of Planning Services has
determined that the addition is not a major change as defined in §23-2-280 and therefore does not require
a formal amendment.
The Department of Planning Services initially objected to the siting of the modular unit over an existing
six (6) foot concrete walkway and requested that the modular be moved off the walkway and sited on the
pad called out as "future sanctuary office". In an email dated October 14, 2010 you agreed to relocate the
modular to the future site and clear of the concrete walkway. This letter coupled with all correspondence
will be filed with the Clerk to the Board. Shall the modular be located in a different location other than
the site agreed upon herein this may affect the ability to obtain a Certificate of Occupancy. Prior to
erecting the modular you must first obtain all necessary building permits, which can be obtained by
contacting the Building Department at 970-353-6100 ext 3548.

Dear Rev. Alvarez:
It was nice to meet you yesterday to talk about your proposed addition on the property
located west of and adjacent to CR 41 and south of and adjacent to CR 78, known as the Bethel
Family Praise Center and approved under USR 1429. After further review the proposed addition
(12' x 60' modular unit) situated west of the current fellowship classrooms but not directly
on the pad called out as " future sanctuary office" is not considered a major change and does
not require any additional land use approvals. However, the department is curious as to why
the modular is not situated on the future pad? It appears that the proposed building will be
located over a 6' concrete walk. Is it possible to move the proposed unit to the north and to
the west so it is off the walk? Please be advised that a building permit is required for the
unit. Ken Swanson with the Building department can be reached at kswansonOco.weld.co.us.
Prior to the issuance of the permit you will need a formal letter from the Planning
Department stating that the proposed addition is not a major change. The department will ask
how you plan to mitigate the issues described above prior to release of the letter. If you

To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing this letter to inform you of our desire to place a temporary portable building
on our existing site USR 1429 Exemption Number 0709-29-1 RE-3025. We are currently
running about 150 to 200 in attendance and have found that classroom space and office
space is needed. We would like to place a temporary building on our site as a bridge
between our future expansions. We are not at a point where we can take on substantial
debt yet the need is such that we must do something.
The portable building would not have any bathroom hookups. We will make use of the
current facilities within the existing building. We would however need to connect
electricity to the building to run the heating and air conditioner. Our immediate plans
would be to use the temporary building until we are able to build the next expansion to
our site. Thank you for your consideration of this matter.
