I will be the one to be present for the reading and presentation of the proclamation on
Wednesday the 12th, during the Commissioners meeting. It would be nice if one or more of the
commissioners would be able to present the proclamation at the ceremony itself. I will try
and stop by some time on the 10th to solicit one or more of the commissioners for this task.
Thanks in advance for all of your help in getting this item on the agenda. If there are any
questions or if you need anything on this please do not hesitate to call me at 970-590-6838,
this is my work cell phone and I should have it with me most all day from now until the
memorial. This will be a very busy week to say the least.
Thanks J.D. Broderius

the line of duty somewhere in this great country, and during this last year 126 brave men and

cities, towns, and counties to honor all peace officers everywhere throughout our great nation.
Now therefore be it hereby resolved that the Board of Weld County Commissioners, do hereby
proclaim the week of May 9'"through May 15`h to be, Police Officers Week
And therefore declare Friday May 14th, 2010 to be Peace Officers Memorial Day, in and for Weld
