Thank ou for receiving this additional information from Raw Land Solutions,LLC
("RLS' on behalf of UQM Properties,Inc.("Owner"or"Applicant"). The purpose of
this le r is to provide responses to the referral comments received from various County
offices well as respond to the submittal requirements from Section 23-2-770 of the
Weld unty Code.
Public orks: RLS attended the Utility Board Commission hearing and addressed the
comme Is from Public Works. The primary issue pointed out by the Utility Board was
the pl ent of the easements outside of the statutory right of way. This was rectified
by the pplicant's engineer and resubmitted to the Utility Board. Heidi Hansen
conf by email the receipt and approval of the revised utility easements on July 7,
2010.
Fire I) tract: The Applicant acknowledges that additional hydrants will be needed on
the Pro at the time of development/construction. The Applicant will address this
issue at the time of building review.
City of Firestone: The City of Firestone submitted a list of issues to be addressed. RLS
• has wo ed with the planning department to address these issues and concerns,most of
which ere questions for the Planning Department.
Soil Di trict: The Soil District has requested that the Applicant submit a weed control
plan. S met with Tina Booten on the Property on the morning of October 4,2010. A
copy o this plan is attached.
Statem nt of Taxes: The statement of taxes for the Property is attached.
Mine Rights Notification: The mineral rights notification statute was complied with
by Hol e Roberts&Owen LLP as counsel to the Owner. The notices were sent to the
mineral rights holders on the week of June 1,2010 and a copy of the mailing certificate
of tho notices was sent to Weld County Planning under separate cover by John Wood at

the on 'nal will be delivered to the Planning Department at the time of the Planning
Co ' ion Hearing. Furthermore,the Applicant has addressed the drill envelopes on
the Pla and designed around those envelopes in order to accommodate the potential
conce s of mineral owners.
Digital File: The Applicant will submit a digital file of the drawings to the Planning
Dep ent.
Plat A endments: The Applicant acknowledges receiving the requested amendments to
the PI and will address those items on the final recorded Plat prior to submittal to the
Board f County Commissioners.
Respo to Weld County Code Section 23-2-770(responses in italics):
A. proposal is consistent with Chapter 22 of this Code and any other applicable
ode provision or ordinance in effect. This proposal is consistent with both

Applicant will comply with all overlay districts and the regulations thereof as
equired by Weld County.

manning Commission. The Planning Commission has approved the application

O tion 1:Fall spray only with Milestone at 5 oz/acre with a surfactant(i.e. I treatment per year)

August or ptember.
Cautions: •
Glyphosat products will kill whatever is green and actively growing.Provides no soil residual control.
2,4-D and icamba can be toxic to trees,however safe on grasses.Provides some soil residual control.
Careful w n used near trees.
Follow the label.It is the law.
