544 RESOLUTION
RE: APPROVE ASSIGNMENT OF TAX SALE CERTIFICATES TO CARLSON FARMS
HOMEOWNERS'ASSOCIATION,INC.,AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN NECESSARY
DOCUMENTS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board now is the owner of Certain Tax Sale Certificates, a list of which is
attached hereto as Exhibit"A" and made a part hereof, which applies to property that is part of the
Carlson Farms Subdivision, located in the Town of Johnstown, Weld County, Colorado, and is for
the value of the 2008 taxes, with endorsements for the year 2008 and interest, and
WHEREAS, the subject property consists of two lots located within the subdivision, and
WHEREAS, on February 25, 2010, Carlson Farms Homeowners'Association, Inc.,paid to the
Treasurer the total of Two Thousand Five Hundred Forty-Six and 38/100 Dollars($2,546.38),which
represents the full amount of the outstanding taxes and interest,with the desire to obtain the subject
property through Treasurer's Deed for the purpose of management of said outlots by the
Homeowners' Association, and
WHEREAS,the Board has the authority to assign the Certificate in this manner pursuant to
Section 39-11-120, C.R.S., effective as of February 25, 2010.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Weld County Treasurer be and hereby is directed to prepare Tax Sale
Certificates for the properties listed on Exhibit"A" for assignment to Carlson Farms Homeowners'
Association, Inc.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chairman is hereby authorized to sign
said assignment, if necessary, and any other associated necessary documentation to affect said
assignment.

APPLICATION
FOR ISSUANCE OF TREASURER'S DEED

To Every Person in Actual Possession or Occupancy of the hereinafter Described Land,
Lot or Premises,and to the Person in Whose Name the same was Taxed or Specially Assessed,
and to all Persons having an Interest or Title of Record in or to the said Premises and To Whom

TWIN SILOS LLC AND ADVOCATE LAND COMPANY INC for said year 2005.
That on the 29th day of JANUARY,2010 said WELD COUNTY assigned said
certificates of purchase to CARLSON FARMS HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION INC the
present holder of said certificate,has made request upon the Treasurer of said County for a deed
to said real estate;
That a Treasurer's Deed will be issued for said real estate to the said CARLSON FARMS
HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION INC at Two o'clock P.M.on the 2N0 day of JULY A.D.
2010,unless the same has been redeemed.
Said property may be redeemed from said sale at any time prior to the actual execution of
said Treasurer's Deed.
