HomeMy WebLinkAbout20100433.tiff Hill Iilll III 3679544 03/05/2010 02:52P Weld County, CO 1 of 6 R 0.00 D 0.00 Steve Moreno Clerk & Recorder 544 RESOLUTION RE: APPROVE ASSIGNMENT OF TAX SALE CERTIFICATES TO CARLSON FARMS HOMEOWNERS'ASSOCIATION,INC.,AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN NECESSARY DOCUMENTS WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Board now is the owner of Certain Tax Sale Certificates, a list of which is attached hereto as Exhibit"A" and made a part hereof, which applies to property that is part of the Carlson Farms Subdivision, located in the Town of Johnstown, Weld County, Colorado, and is for the value of the 2008 taxes, with endorsements for the year 2008 and interest, and WHEREAS, the subject property consists of two lots located within the subdivision, and WHEREAS, on February 25, 2010, Carlson Farms Homeowners'Association, Inc.,paid to the Treasurer the total of Two Thousand Five Hundred Forty-Six and 38/100 Dollars($2,546.38),which represents the full amount of the outstanding taxes and interest,with the desire to obtain the subject property through Treasurer's Deed for the purpose of management of said outlots by the Homeowners' Association, and WHEREAS,the Board has the authority to assign the Certificate in this manner pursuant to Section 39-11-120, C.R.S., effective as of February 25, 2010. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Weld County Treasurer be and hereby is directed to prepare Tax Sale Certificates for the properties listed on Exhibit"A" for assignment to Carlson Farms Homeowners' Association, Inc.
