RE: AUTHORIZATION FOR BRANCH OFFICE FOR VETERANS' SERVICE
IN FORT LUPTON, COLORADO.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that there is a need for
service to veterans in the southern portion of Weld County, and
WHEREAS, a recommendation has been made that a substation
could be housed in a portion of the basement in the County' s
Fort Lupton Service Center on a once-a-week basis for the time
being, and
WHEREAS , after consideration of the matter, the Board of
County Commissioners has determined that in order to meet the
needs of veterans in the southern portion of Weld County, an
office should be put into operation in the Weld County Fort
Lupton Service Center on a once-a-week basis.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Veteran' s Office
will operate one day a week out of the Weld County Fort Lupton
Service Center.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 15th day of
February, A.D. , 1978.
