Dear. Mr. Luther:
Weld County has been reviewing the current status of street improvements
within subdivisions under County jurisdiction, in an effort to bring our
files up-to-date. In action taken on August 16th, 1978, the Board of
County Commissioners determined that the County cannot accept the streets
in the Luther Subdivision east of Greeley at this time due to their
substandard condition.
Weld County requests a reply from you as to your plans for future
improvements to the streets in the Luther Subdivision, as well as the
timetable for completing such improvements. Upon completion of street
improvements to County standards, the streets can be accepted by the
County for maintenance.
The County has also been contacted by Mrs. Lee Riley, a resident of the
Luther Subdivision, who states that Chesnut Street is in very bad condition
and requested County maintenance of that street. We have advised Mrs.
Riley of the current situation and that we will contact her when the
County receives your response.
Weld County would hope to reconsider acceptance of the streets in this
area as soon as possible; we would appreciate your reply by September 15,
1978. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.
