HomeMy WebLinkAbout20101322.tiff RESOLUTION RE: DECLARE CERTAIN REAL ESTATE AS SURPLUS PROPERTY, ACCEPT BID PROPOSAL, APPROVE SPECIAL WARRANTY DEED, AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN - GLORIA LISTER WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, State statute and the Weld County Code require that all items disposed of be declared surplus by the Board of County Commissioners, and WHEREAS, the County has determined that certain real estate is no longer required for County use, and WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a bid proposal (#61000118) from Gloria Lister, to buy said real estate for, and in consideration of, the sum of$500.00, and WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Special Warranty Deed between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, and Gloria Lister, 13350 County Road 80, Eaton, Colorado 80615, with terms and conditions being as stated in said Special Warrant Deed for the following described real estate, to-wit: Part of the E1/2 NW1/4 of Section 20, Township 7 North, Range 66 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado; beginning 613' Ely from the NW corner, thence Ely 52' Sly 275' Wly 52' Nly 275' to beginning WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to declare said real estate as surplus property, accept said proposal, and approve said Special Warranty Deed. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the abovementioned real estate be, and hereby is, declared surplus. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the proposal from Gloria Lister in the amount of$500.00, be, and hereby is, accepted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Special Warranty Deed between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, and Gloria Lister be, and hereby is, approved. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized to sign said Special Warranty Deed.
