WHEREAS, Upstate continues to leverage Weld County's marketing position by
its support of regional economic development efforts, including its affiliations
o with the State of Colorado Office of Economic Development and International °P. ,
Trade and the Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation,and = y
, WHEREAS, Upstate also recognizes the need to tie economic development 3 '
efforts to specific area characteristics,as witnessed by its organization and o x
administration of the Southwest Weld Economic Development Initiative and

�' P Upstate completed a successful Leadership/Funding campaign during 2009, o n
