RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS TO WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Workforce Development Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Dana Rutz be appointed to said board as a small
business representative to replace Nancy Fox, with a term to expire December 31, 2012; that
Jeannie Valliere be appointed to said board as a financial representative to replace Sarah Elliott
Chacon,with a term to expire December 31, 2012; and that Donna Getman be appointed as a small
business representative to replace Brenda Laughlin,with a term to expire December 31, 2011, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Dana Rutz, Jeannie Valliere, and
Donna Getman to said board, with terms to expire December 31, 2012, and December 31, 2011,
respectively.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Dana Rutz, Jeannie Valliere, and Donna Getman be, and hereby are,
appointed to the Workforce Development Board, with terms to expire December 31, 2012, and
December 31, 2011, respectively.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 12th day of April, A.D., 2010.
