RE: APPROVE ASSIGNMENT OF TAX LIEN SALE CERTIFICATE TO MARCELA FERMAN
FOR PURCHASE ON JULY 27, 2010 AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN NECESSARY
DOCUMENTS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,the Board was the owner of a Certain Tax Lien Sale Certificate,the information
concerning which is attached hereto as Exhibit"A"and made a part hereof,which is for the value of
the 2008 base taxes, and
WHEREAS, the subject property consists of a mobile/modular structure described as"GR
12201 IMPS ONLY MH PT MCFERREN 1 ANNEX", Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, on July 27, 2010, Marcela Ferman paid to the Weld County Treasurer a total of
One Hundred Four and 47/100 Dollars ($104.47),which represents the value of the 2008 tax base
plus the following amounts: delinquent interest from May 1, 2009,through July 27, 2010, penalties,
and a $4.00 assignment fee, and
WHEREAS,the Board has the authority to assign the Certificates in this manner pursuant to
Section 39-11-120, C.R.S., effective July 27, 2010.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Weld County Treasurer be and hereby is directed to prepare Tax Lien
Sale Certificates for the properties listed on Exhibit"A" to Marcela Ferman.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized to
sign said assignments and any other associated necessary documentation to affect said
assignments.
