SUBJECT: Staff Request for a Continuance
The applicant Mr. Thoene has applied for a Site Specific Development Plan and a Special Review
Permit for a Home Business (storage of construction materials—steel doors and frames) in the (A)
Agricultural Zone District.
As of the date of this Planning Commissioner hearing, Mr. Thoene has not received a Certificate of
Occupancy for his residence currently under construction. Given this situation, the Department of
planning Services is requesting, on his behalf, a continuance of this land use case until December 1,
2009.

My builder is telling me that he will be calling for the CO on the 25`h. Is this too close? If this slips I will obviously not

Hi Keith,
Could you please update me on the status of your building permit(BCR09-00286)for your home? According to Weld
County's records it appears a COC has not been issued therefore if a COC is not issued before Dec. 1, 2009 the land use
case will need to be continued. The next possible hearing date would be Feb. 2, 2010. Please let me know how you
would like to proceed,thanks.
