RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING NONEXCLUSIVE LICENSE AGREEMENT FOR THE
UPGRADE AND MAINTENANCE OF COUNTY ROAD 116 AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO
SIGN -SLAWSON EXPLORATION COMPANY, INC. (ROCKY MOUNTAIN DIVISION)
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,the Board has been presented with a Nonexclusive License Agreement for the
Upgrade and Maintenance of County Road 116 Right-of-Way between the County of Weld, State of
Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the
Department of Public Works, and Slawson Exploration Company, Inc. (Rocky Mountain Division),
1675 Broadway, Suite 1600, Denver, Colorado 80202, with terms and conditions being as stated in
said agreement, and
WHEREAS, a hearing before the Board was held on the 13th day of October, 2010, at which
time the Board deemed it advisable to continue said matter to October 20, 2010, in order to allow
adequate time for the surrounding property owners to express their concerns and to allow a
representative from Slawson Exploration Company, Inc., to attend the hearing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to October 20,
2010, at 9:00 a.m.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 13th day of October, A.D., 2010.
